My name is Chad and I am an elementary physical educator in Chesapeake, VA with 15 years teaching experience. I hold a B.S. in Kinesiology with an endorsement to teach K-12 Physical Education and Health from James Madison University and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
I have presented in state AHPERD conferences in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Arkansas, and New York over the past few years. In 2009, I was a featured presenter at the Camp Caesar Conference in Cowen, WV, the ARKAHPERD Conference in Eureka Springs, AR, and the VAHPERD Conference in Virginia Beach, VA. I've been a presenter and a leader at the annual Virginia Health and Physical Activity Institute for the past four years, and I've presented throughout the state of Virginia for the past four years as part of VAHPERD's physical education improvement project titled OHPEP (Outstanding Health and Physical Education Programs). I was also recognized as the 2009 Virginia Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year, the 2009 Jump Rope for Heart Coordinator of the Year, and the 2009-2010 Southern District AHPERD Jump Rope for Heart Coordinator of the Year.

I am a certified Bike Smart! Virginia instructor and recently competed a I have been happily married for 10+ years to my supportive and beautiful wife, Amy, and I now have three wonderful children, Bella (8), Alex (5), and Drew (newborn).
